The hotel is amazing and fairly clean, nestled in a new building with excellant view of the beach. The location is great and super as its short walk to Close to the bars as well as entertainments😃👍

The breakfast was absolutely excellent with a good choice of meals that tasted great. the room was well-equipped and came with fresh towels. the hotel's location was perfect, with restaurants and bars close by.

The location of the hotel was central, near to the beach, restaurants and shops, bars / restaurants, and the historical city center. The breakfast was very very good with a huge variety of different options.

We loved the location of the hotel, right by the beach with easy access to the historical city center. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a well-functioning shower. The breakfast was good, with options like eggs and bacon. The hotel also had a nice concept and provided a token for a free beer at check-in.

One downside was that the room had a view of a blind wall and a noisy air extraction installation.

Attending The Dead Rat Ball, this hotel's quirky decor and close proximity to the venue made it the perfect choice. The comfortable rooms had all the necessary amenities, except for a kettle. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was possibly the best we've ever had in a hotel. The fast wifi, comfortable bar/lounge area, and great location near the beach and town center added to the overall experience. This hotel felt like a backpacker's hostel for grown-ups.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, offering a wide variety of fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, eggs, bacon. The shower was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were great and there were plenty of outlets for charging devices. The location was convenient for exploring Ostend and there were many restaurants nearby.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Firstly, the location was unbeatable, right by the beach. It was so convenient to have the beach just a minute away. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were always ready to help and made me feel right at home. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with good beds and a great view of the balcony. I loved waking up to the sound of waves crashing and the fresh sea breeze.

stayed in ostend before, but upstairs was a whole new level! friendly staff, cmfy room, and plenty of activities. loved the beach nearby, ping pong table, and delish breakfast buffet. felt welcomed and had a great time!

While the staff during breakfast was efficient, they were a bit too quick to clear tables, which made it difficult for us to enjoy an extra cup of coffee. Additionally, the street outside the hotel could get noisy in the mornings, causing a bit of disturbance.

I recently stayed at the Upstairs Hotel for a weekend getaway. The hotel had an incredibly cool and vibrant vibe, with a lounging area that played music 24/7 and even had a slide surrounded by grandstands. The rooms were compact but creatively designed and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond, fixing my scooter and providing an itinerary of things to do. Plus, there were no penalties for checking out late. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again and again.

Our room was stuffy and hot compared to the rest of the hotel or outside. The lack of ventilation and air conditioning made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
